EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
With the help of God, family, and friends, I was allowed the opportunity to further my education in order to attain a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Education from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, a Certification in Educational Leadership and Supervision from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and an Educational Specialist Degree as well as a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Samford University. I have worked with the Alabama State Department of Education on a couple of task force committees in the area of special education and curriculum and instruction. I have also worked with AdvancEd where I served as a committee member for quality assurance in order for schools to receive accreditation.
MY BELIEFS:
I believe that honesty, commitment, and hard work are some of the attributes needed to help those who I serve. I further believe that God must exists in every part of my life in order to be successful. Lastly, I truly believe that there must always be more than adequate room for family. Family, to me, is a bond that will not be broken by any outside factor. My husband, children, and extended family is the base of why I strive. I exist today only by the grace of God, the strength of family, and my own will to better my school and community.
