I have been a dance instructor for over 20 years.  I have also taught Art, Pre-K, and Kindergarten. The majority of my teaching career has been in Kindergarten and I am excited about making the move to First Grade. 

Welcome to First Grade.  My name is Celia Hinton and I was born and still live here in Bessemer, Alabama.  I have 2 beautiful, smart daughters in 3rd Grade and 9th grade and 5 pets (1 dog, 3 cats, and a fish).  I teach dance part-time and enjoy taking dance classes, working in my yard, and spending time with my family and friends. Going into this school year virtually is going to be challenging for us all but I want to families to know that I am here to offer help and support as we all learn the virtual tools that will be used for instruction this year.  Please do not hesitate to reach out using the contact info on my class page or the Remind App.  Chances are, if you have an issue or a question, you are not the only one.
